Kensington & Chelsea Community Transport Scout visitors to Baden-Powell House can now benefit from the use of Kensington & Chelsea Community Transport, who offer the hire of vehicles designed with disabled passengers in mind. Drivers can also be 'hired' for a fixed rate of £8 per hour. Alternatively, if you wish to use your own driver they must be registered with KCCT and hold a MiDAS certificate. Fun with Maps (14/11/2002) www.mapzone.co.uk is the Ordnance Survey website dedicated to 7-14 year olds. Leaders might find it useful in the appropriate parts of the Programme. It is home to a range of map-themed games and activities aimed principally at schoolchildren. Simple to use and a showcase for our skills in Human Computer Interaction, maps are used as a basis for these activities. The site helps children to interact with maps more confidently, while also allowing them to become more familiar with the concepts of grid referencing and locating places of interest. www.mapzone.co.uk encompasses various zones: Our Favourite Places
