The Chief Scout's Platinum Award

(reference Unit Essentials P)
In order to gain the Chief Scout's Platinum Award
you must Achieve the following:
 |
Be a Member of Explorer Scouts or the Scout
Network for at least six months. |
 |
Complete six nights away as an Explorer Scout
or a member of the Scout Network (four camping). |
 |
Complete two activities from the list of
International, Environment & Faith activities. |
 |
Hold the bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award or
complete the four Platinum Scout Challenges which are:
 |
Take up a skill for three months
 |
(for example, car maintenance,
cookery, computers or taking a leading part in a Committee). |
|
 |
Take up a physical activity for three
months
 |
(for example, canoeing, caving,
climbing, cycling or cricket). |
|
 |
Undertake Service to an individual or the
Community
 |
(for example, helping the elderly,
fundraising or charities, being a lifeguard or taking part in the
Young Leaders Scheme). |
|
 |
Spend an extra three months on any one of
the above Challenges |
 |
Complete a two day / one night expedition
 |
(this can be undertaken on foot,
water, cycling or horseback). |
